Skills Development Programmes

We recruit, train, and equip individuals with essential skills necessary for a successful career in the mining industry through both internal and external internship and learnership programs. Internships span various disciplines, allowing youth to gain valuable work experience and advance their careers.
Our learnership programs focus on engineering and operational disciplines, offering apprenticeships and operator licensing. The integration of participants into our business is a key objective of these training initiatives.

Bursaries

We offer bursaries to learners based on merit and financial need, supporting them in pursuing high school and tertiary education.

Portable Skills

Our focus is on upskilling youth in the vicinity of our mine, empowering them to secure employment or establish their own businesses within the Thembisile Hani Local Municipality.

We are dedicated to preparing young black talent from local communities for the workforce and are deeply committed to community empowerment, driving various innovative initiatives in this regard.
